Hair SOS - Redken Extreme Anti-Snap

I have a confession to make: I am a fake blonde.

For the past couple of years I have gone to the hairdressers every two months to get my hair coloured.  My natural hair colour is - I think - a very dark blonde/auburn colour. Although I colour it, usually I would say that my hair is in good condition because I rarely use heat on it. But recently my hair has given up on me; it is dry, brittle, abundant with split ends and sometimes bits just SNAP off ...

After searching on the computer for miracle hair products that would save my injured hair, it became obvious that the unanimous response was Redken's Extreme Anti-Snap leave in conditioner.

I have been using it for about a week now and I can already notice a huge difference in the quality of my hair. After washing my hair, I put a couple of pumps of it into the bottom half of my hair and then dry after ten minutes. The consistency is a white creamy formula which smells absolutely divine! It contains an "Interlock Protein Network" which provides protein and ceramide "to help fortify weakened areas". My hair is no where from being cured, however, it is less dry and the split-ends have depleted. I hope that if I continue to use it, eventually my hair will be back to its normal self.

Do you have any recommendations for damaged hair?

I got my Redken leave-in conditioner from HERE!

  1. I always wanted to try this one! Does it have silicones in it?

    1. I've checked the ingredients and from what I can see, there doesn't seem to be. It says it's a protein treatment with ceramide etc and it doesn't feel like it has silicones in it. I could be wrong though, sorry x
