Bracelets of the Day - No. 3

Hey everyone, just a quick post to show you some bracelets I have been loving recently. They are both rose gold and what I really love about them is that one is quite pricey and the other is not, but they look great together!

Hope you like them!

Bootylicious

Bit of a naughty post for you all today ... are you all ready for some shoe porn?

Okay, so if you haven't noticed the hideous pun for a title and the explicit introduction - I am rather excited about a little purchase I made on a trip to Edinburgh. I am so in love with these gorgeous ankle boots from Topshop, I could go on ... but I thought the photos would do them more justice!

Also comes in grey, bordeaux and navy.

Birthday Wish List!

As it is my birthday in a few weeks, I thought I would show you all a (dream) wish list of things I would like to get!

1. Chanel 5170 Sunglasses in Dark Havana

I have never had an expensive pair of sunglasses before due my clumsy habits of dropping/losing things. However, as I am becoming a year older, I hope I become wiser and more able to own glasses that don't come from Primark! Bought from HERE

2. Stocking up on perfume

I have suddenly ran out of all my favourite perfumes at the same time (always seems to happen) and I have wanted to try Chanel Chance Eau Tendre for ages - the bottle is gorgeous!

3. Topshop Blazer

Every girl should have a blazer, they are such a good investment as they are ridiculously wearable! I have wanted a off-white one for AGES and I think it would be great for spring. Link to Topshop Blazer HERE

I am too excited for my birthday and I hope I am lucky enough to receive some of these gifts from friends and family.

Deal of the Week
I have decided to include a deal I have seen recently at the end of each of my posts for you all. I hope you like it, please tell me if you do!

Todays deal is from Buyapowa and it is the Joico K-Pack Haircare Trio.
RRP £45.85 - Best Price £30

I love this range from Joico and it would be a lovely mid-week treat for you all!
Link to deal is HERE

Nail of the Day - Razzmatazz by Topshop

Another Nail of the Day for you all, Razzmatazz from Topshop. I have always associated glitter with Christmas but this nail polish has converted me to a glitter-holic this spring! I am obsessed. This beautiful lilac polish with holographic glitter is incredible and I have received so many compliments when wearing it.

The quality is very good, I put it on a week ago and it's still looking great. I think this is wonderful and slightly different nail polish for spring and I expect I will be wearing it constantly!

Retails at £6 from Topshop stores and online.

Bracelets of the Day - No.2

Another Bracelet of the Day post for you all, hope you like them! I have been really getting into the summer brights and pastels that have been bombarding the shops recently, however, I live in Scotland and it is currently raining. So I think that wearing some bright bracelets is all the colour I am going to be seeing for a while.

l-r   amazonite friendship bracelet, orange bead bracelet from topshop,

I am in love with the bracelet on the far left and it is from a fellow blogger, Fleur de Force. She has an amazing website with a shop which sells simple yet beautiful jewellery. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

Topshop Love

It's fair to say that Topshop is my favourite high street shop, ever. I love the "just-off-the-catwalk" style and at a fraction of the catwalk price I just think it is amazing. However, recently Topshop has been disappointing me, yes I was still buying things from there occassionally but my love had certainly lessened, I found myself heading to Urban Outfitters and American Apparel before my beloved Topshop. But I am delighted to announce that Topshop and I are back together ...

Their spring range is in!

Obviously these items don't really go together but I think the coral jumper and the jeans would look so cute with white Converse! I will be definitely checking out these items next time I am in town.

What is your favourite spring range out so far?

The Classic Smokey Eye

The smokey eye is probably the most desired makeup look of the past decade and I expect that it will continue to be incredibly sought after in the makeup world, because of this it has become a classic. I am NOT a professional but I have come to the conclusion that the smokey eye is best when it is kept very simple.

For this look you will need:
  1. A base - either an eyeshadow primer or a cream eyeshadow                       (I chose a Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow from Benefit called Birthday Suit)
  2. Two eyeshadows - a highlight colour and a dark grey or black                   (I chose a Duo Eyeshadow from Nars called Tzarine)
  3. A black eyeliner - whatever you prefer: kohl, gel, liquid etc                      (I chose one from Topshop called Coal)
  4. A black mascara - again choose your favourite                                         (I chose Maxfactor's Masterpiece Max)
  5. Two brushes - a shader brush and a fluffy brush                                       (I have two from Topshop - the Smudger Brush and the Eyeshadow Brush)

First, apply the base all over the lid and up to the brow bone.

Next apply the highlight eyeshadow all over the lid with the fluffy brush. Then switch to the darker colour and use the shader brush to work the colour into the crease and the upper lash line. Follow a V shape from the middle of the eye and outwards to the outer edge of the eye and then back into the crease. Use the fluffy brush to blend any harsh lines.

Then apply the eyeliner to the water line and upper lash line and apply the mascara to finish.

The finished look should look something like this - don't worry if it's not exactly the same!

The smokey eye is perfect for a night out and as it is coming up to Christmas, I expect that lots of you will be planning lots of them! You can obviously change bits of it, different colours, more sparkle or maybe some false eyelashes but I just wanted to show you the basic smokey eye.

If you want me to do a more in depth review on any of the products I used then please leave a comment below.

Nail of the Day - Hyperreal by Topshop

When I was wondering in Topshop the other week, I suddenly found myself gravitating toward the makeup section. I have been overall really impressed with Topshop's makeup but for me the nail polishes are by far the best. The array of colours and the £5/6 price tag are too good to resist, so I picked up one ... because I needed it.

I have been recently obsessed with bronze makeup and this colour looked so gorgeous. Like all Topshop nail polishes the quality is really good and for me, it lasted about five days. However, the colour was not what I expected, from the bottle it looks like a divine bronze with just the right amount of shimmer, on my nails it almost looked like a rose gold (I love rose gold nail polishes - Rage by Orly is amazing - but I really wanted a bronze nail polish).

Overall, I do like this colour and it will be lovely for the Christmas period but I am still on the market for the perfect bronze nail polish.

Any recommendations?
